Consumer Appliances
High-efficiency appliance power semiconductors that cut power consumption and heat.
Overview
Modern home appliances require high-efficiency, compact and highly reliable power conversion technology to reduce power consumption and improve product performance. Dicio supports inverter motor control, induction heating and high-efficiency power systems with Si IGBT, FRD and SiC-based power semiconductors.
Power conversion architecture
Power conversion from utility input to appliance loads
A 220–240 VAC utility input is converted into stable DC power through PFC and a DC link. The inverter then controls the voltage and frequency required by compressors, fans and induction-heating systems.
Inverter
The inverter converts DC power into AC power at the voltage and frequency required by the load, controlling compressor, fan and drum motors.
